Fujitsu plans to release a new thin ultrabook under the Lifebook U745 brand name. The new machine will be based on the latest Intel Broadwell processors and will feature prolonged battery life.
The Lifebook U745 measures 332.6 x 234 x 19 mm and weighs 1.55-1.70 kilograms, depending on the model. The ultrabook offers a 14-inch display at 1600 x 900 pixels and offers Intel Broadwell Core i3-5010U, i5-5200U, i5-5300U and i7-5600U processors as well as Intel VPro.
The rest of the specs include 4-12 GB of DDR3 SDRAM, a 500 GB SSHD disk with 8 GB of cache or a 128-512 GB SSD, three USB 3.0 ports, VGA and DP ports, a card reader, a HD web camera, Realtek ALC3233 sound, two speakers, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Fujitsu Lifebook U745 runs Windows 7 Professional, Windows 8.1 or Windows 8.1 Pro. There is no word on pricing as of now.
