LG has presented three new portable speakers that are called PH2, PH3 and PH4. They are all designed for people on the go or for music fans who do not want to deal with cables and rely on Bluetooth technology to exchange data.
“LG’s new line of Bluetooth speakers combine powerful sound performance with compact, portable design,” said Tim Alessi, senior director, product marketing for home entertainment at LG Electronics USA. “Understanding the busy lifestyles of many of today’s consumers, we sought to create a diverse lineup of audio products that deliver a seamless listening experience in any situation or setting.”
The LG PH2 model is based on a 2.5W speaker. This is the smallest speaker in the group, measuring 97 x 38 mm and weighing 227 grams. The speaker is housed in a sturdy chassis that provides protection against shock and water. The built-in battery can provide power for up to six hours.
The LG PH3 model sports a 3W speaker and offers a LED flashlight that offers five different working modes. The speaker measures 89 x 124 mm and can last for up to ten hours on a single charge. This can be said of the LG PH4 too – this one boasts 16W of power under the hood, a water-resistant chassis and the same 10-hour battery.
All new LG PH speakers will be officially unveiled at IFA 2016, which will take place in Berlin in the September 2-7 time period. No word on pricing as of now.
