The famous US maker of memory products and SSDs Micron Technology, better known as Crucial, will start selling a new SSD line next month. The line will be known as MX100 and is supposed to sit between the M500 and M550 lines.
There isn’t a ton of information on the MX100 so we will share what we know. The drives will come in the common 2.5-inch form factor and will support SATA 3.0. Inside they will use 16 nm MLC NAND Flash memory. It is expected that the MX100 line will debut at Computex 2014 in Taiwan; the event will take place between June 3-7 2014.
The remaining specs of the MX100 line are unknown at the moment.
