Have you ever wanted to drive a subway train? If yes, now you have the chance to see how it feels like, although for a short while.
Subway Simulator, which is a free Android game, will put you right in the shoes of a motorman so that you can see how it feels like to work in underground tunnels. You drive a train, quite naturally, and to do so you make use of two levers and a handbrake. The game is not hard to play and you will figure it out in a minute.
The bad news is that the graphics is not great and the game play quickly becomes repetitive. In addition once you get the train going you can leave your Android device and go have a cup of coffee. The game will do the rest for you – take the train to the next station, stop it, etc. All you have to do is open and close the doors and get it going. And to finish it up, all train stations look the same and feature the same people. Kind of strange, isn’t it?
Subway Simulator may be fun but it may not be. And although the game does promise things it hardly delivers. So don’t expect to be playing it for a long time – remember how this article started? Still you may like it, who knows?
