Thanks to the innovative age that we live in it’s no surprise that 2016 will undoubtedly be another exciting one in terms of technology and there already looks to be an impressive line-up of products utilising this new tech heading our way very soon.
THE SMART WHEEL
This year looks set to be an interesting one for safety conscious drivers out there. There are plenty of new and innovative safety measures being created to help better protect drivers and their passengers from potential driving danger or injury, and the smart wheel looks set to do just that. The device snaps into place over your existing steering wheel and is fitted with various sensors that will be able to determine if a driver is distracted at all and alert them to this.
LG’S NEW ROLLABLE DISPLAY
It’s not a completely new concept but LG have managed to create a very impressive new piece of rollable tech. It’s still in its prototype stage but is striking nonetheless. Their new 18-inch display can be rolled right up like a newspaper and it’s this type of screen flexibility that could become more common in the future if they can get it right.
ACER LIQUID JADE PRIMO
It’s a PC in your pocket. Acer’s new smartphone device comes complete with a Continuum feature which when plugged into a display will turn the handset into a PC. With 3GB or RAM and 32GB of memory this 5.5-inch beauty looks set to turn a few heads. The PC transformation is exciting and it’s powerful enough still to power all those battery and processor demanding apps like playing all your favourite casino games on Bet365 casino.
THE SMART REFRIGERATOR
There’s plenty of new tech out there that some may perceive as being a tad unnecessary but for those who crave fresh innovative ideas and are happy to slowly turn their home into a smart-based haven then Samsung’s new smart fridge will be a must-have item. It comes with a 21.5-inch touchscreen so you can place digital notes and photos on the front and even includes a camera on the inside so you can check the contents on the go.
THE SMART OWL
The smart owl is the creation of French start-up company Oliba which acts as a toy tracker and nightlight. If the toy gets lost you can track it down with an app that makes it hoot allowing you to find it quickly. It also has the ability to tell stories by giving mum and dad the opportunity to record special messages to it that the kids can listen to whenever they want.
