ADATA Technology announced the launched of 2.5-inch S511 Solid State Drive which uses SandForce SF-2200 series controller and SATA 6Gb/s interface.
The new ssd drive is capable of reaching read and write speeds of 550/520MB respectively, with 4K random write speeds as high as 60,000 IOPS. The drive can achieve 25 second system boot time on Windows 7, supports TRIM commands and comes with free Disk Migration Utility software and 2.5-inch to 3.5-inch adapter bracket.
The S511 is available in 60GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities.
