AOC has presented a new line of gaming monitors that is called Agon. In case you do not know the word “agon” in Greek means ‘fight’ so according to us the brand name has been well chosen. The Agon line includes ten monitors on IPS and TN technologies and targets professional gamers and hardware enthusiasts.
The new AOC monitor line includes models with display sizes of 24 inches to 35 inches. The resolution used varies but it can go up to 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels). The response time is excellent – the monitors need 1 ms of time to switch colors and the top monitors in the line will have 144 Hz of refresh rate. The monitors also support NVIDIA’s G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technologies and include a USB 3.0 hub.
The first Agon models will be in stores in June. No word on pricing as of now.
