The end of the year and the holidays that come with it allow many people around the world to enjoy computer games and as you know they are usually played on PC monitors. This is also the time when people tend to get new hardware so Dell has used the holiday gaming spirit to announce a new 23.6-inch gaming monitor that is called SE2417HG.
The novelty targets people who play dynamic action games and offers the typical business-style Dell design, a massive and sturdy chassis, sensor buttons and Full HD resolution. The monitor weighs 3.4 kilograms without the stand (which allows the monitor to be tilted only) and its display has the rather quick response time of 1 ms. The SE2417HG comes with 170/160-degree viewing angles, up to 300 cd/m² of brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colors and 84 per cent CIE1976 color coverage. The monitor needs just 16.5-24 W of power when working but this depends on the chosen monitor mode. The SE2417HG also has two HDMI 1.4 ports in the back and a single D-Sub connector.
This monitor can now be yours for around USD 237.
