The South Korean company LG has readied a new 21.5-inch monitor that will be launched next month in Japan first.
Called LG E2242V-BN, the novelty measures 508.6 x 36.2 x 312.5 mm (without the stand) and sports a 21.5-inch screen with Full HD support and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, based on a TN panel. Static contrast ratio is 1000 : 1, while dynamic contrast ratio is 5 000 000 : 1, brightness is 250 cd/m2 and response time is 5 ms. The vertical viewing angles reach 160 degrees, while the diagonal angles reach 170 degrees. The device is also equipped with D-Sub, DVI-D and HDMI outputs and power consumption during normal use is 23 watts.
The novelty will be sold for around 169 USD.
