The South Korean tech company Samsung has released the new 32-inch U32D970Q monitor. The new company product is designed for graphics professionals, hardware enthusiasts and 3D designers and measures 727.8 x 490.6-620.5 x 280 mm for total weight 13.7 kilograms (30.1 pounds). The device makes use of PLS (Plane Line Switching) technology and has a GB-LED display.
Designed for professional use, the Samsung U32D970Q offers professionally-oriented features – a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K/UHD), brightness of 350 cd/m2, a static contrast ratio of 1000:1, 8 ms of response time and 178-degree viewing angles. The monitor supports up to 1.07 billion colors and covers 99.5 per cent of the AdobeRGB color space.
Being an advanced device the Samsung U32D970Q offers a number of connectivity options that include four USB 3.0 ports with quick charging for various devices, PIP 2.0 technology, two DisplayPort connectors, one HDMI port and one DVI port. The monitor can also be hung on a wall thanks to its integrated VESA capability. It also has full compliance with the Energy Star 6.0 and TCO 6.0 energy efficiency certificates and thus it needs just 90 watts of power when operating and then 0.4 watts of power in standby mode.
The Samsung U32D970Q is now available for USD 1999.
