The Taiwanese hi-tech company Acer has released a new budget-oriented notebook under the trade name of Aspire V5-122P.
The new company product is built around an 11.6-inch display at 1366 x 768 pixels and packs an AMD A6-1450 APU (Temash) at 1 GHz (1.4 GHz in Turbo Mode) with built-in AMD Radeon HD 8280 GPU at 300-500 MHz.
The notebook comes with 2 GB of DDR3 SDRAM, a 500 GB hard drive, a microSD card slot, Acer Crystal Eye HD web camera, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI and a 3-cell battery. The Aspire V5-122P comes with Windows 8 right out of the box.
The cheapest version of the Acer Aspire V5-122P will sell for USD 450.
