The Taiwanese maker of notebooks Acer has launched the Aspire V11 series. It is unusual with the fact that it is virtually noise-free as all models of the Aspire V11 line come with passive CPU cooling.
The new notebooks are just 22 mm thick and weigh 1.29 kilograms. They are available in red, white, black and blue colors and house Intel Pentium and Celeron processors, based on the Haswell architecture. The Aspire V11 series offers 11.6-inch displays at 1280 x 800 pixels, 8 GB of RAM, 1 TB hard drives, integrated graphics, two USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.0 port, HDMI, a Gigabit Ethernet card, a SD card slot, stereo speakers and other useful hardware.
The notebooks of the Aspire V11 series start at EUR 299.
