Following the footsteps of Intel, which has just released the Core i3-2375M processor, Advanced Micro Devices has responded by releasing two new Trinity-based APUs – the A8-4557M and A10-4657M.
Both chips enjoy TDP of 35W and offer four cores and 4 MB of cache memory. The A8-4557M chip runs at 1.9 GHz (2.8 GHz in Turbo Mode) and has an integrated AMD GPU with 256 stream processors that operates at 497 MHz (655 MHz in Turbo Mode).
The AMD A10-4657M APU operates at 2.3 GHz (3.2 GHz in Turbo Mode) and has an integrated Radeon GPU with 384 stream processors that run at 497 MHz (686 MHz in Turbo mode).
The pricing of both chips is unknown.
