Fujitsu Asia announced two new additions to its tablet PC family – the LifeBook T580 and TH550, featuring 10.1-inch SuperFine HD Display and based on Intel CULV platform.
The new portable tablets are packed with 3-Way Input: Touch.Write.Type and 4-point multi-touch technology along with dual digitizer, allowing for pen input and capacitive multi-touch support. They have a bi-directional auto-rotating 10.1-inch (1366 x 768) SuperFine HD TFT touch screen display backed by Intel HD Graphics. The power comes from Intel Core i3-380UM / i5-560UM / Pentium U5400 processors, also come with up to 8 GB of RAM, SSD SATA, 64 /128 GB SATA SSD or 2.5-inch 160/320 HDDwith 5400 rpm and 500 GB HDD with 7200rpm.
Features also include spill-resistant keyboard, Theft Protection, SmartCard slot, fingerprint sensor, optional GPS and ambient light sensor. Connectivity options include Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 a/b/g/n, Kensington Lock HDMI and VGA output, all with weight of 1.4kg. But no information about prices.
