It turns out that despite the massive release of new IdeaPad laptops at CES in January 2012, Lenovo has saved one model for later. And now it comes ready for pre-order at Lenovo’s web-site – get ready to meet Lenovo IdeaPad Y470p.
The novelty comes with some rather appealing hardware specs. Sporting an Intel Core i7-2670QM processor, running at 2.20 GHz and coming with 6 MB of L3 cache, the new laptop also comes with a 14-inch display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels and an integrated 2 MP camera, 8 GB of DDR3-1333 memory, a 750 GB hard drive (upgradeable to 1 TB), a quite capable AMD Radeon HD 7690 1 GB graphics card, DVD-RW, Bluetooth, Ethernet, USB connectors, a card-reader, HDMI and finally Windows 7 Home Premium x64. The battery provided is 6-cell lithium-ion. There are also premium JBL speakers under the hood.
The 4.85-pound laptop costs as much as 1249 USD but right now consumers can get it for just 799 USD using the eCoupon code WKLYDEALSY470P if you order it now. Lenovo will start shipping the Y470p laptop on February 13, 2012.
