LG Electronics today added a new “premium” notebook to its lineup, inspired by the company’s iF Design Award-winning LG P210 model. The new P220 laptop is powered by Intel’s second generation Core i3/i5 processors and features sleek lightweight body, weighting just 1.3kg and with depth of 20.9mm, accompanied by 12.5-inch LED IPS LCD (1366×768) display with Real Slim Bezel.
LG claims that thanks to the three-sided Real Slim Bezel on the left, right and top sides of the screen, the LG’s p220 laptop can deliver brilliant, 12.5-inch widescreen viewing in 11.6-inch compact body. The notebook’s IPS (in-plane switching) display promises “brilliant, sharp images” with 178 degree viewing angles. Inside, along with the latest Intel Core processors, there’s Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics, up to 4GB of RAM, 250/320 HDD storage(SSD models later) and standard connectivity options like LAN, 802.11b/g/n (DLNA -support), Bluetooth 3.0 + HS (Combo), 4-in-1 card reader, USB ports, HDMI out and 4 Cell Li-P battery. For chatting with your friends and for better multimedia enjoyment, it packs also a 1.3MP Webcam and SRS Sound Solution.
The entire laptop measures 297.6 x 193.4 x 20.9 mm and comes in three color options – White Pearl, Pink Pearl, and Blue Pearl.
The LG P220 notebook will first go on sale in Korea this month, followed by European markets.
