MSI rolls out another gaming machine for serious gamers who demand extreme performance. The GT663 laptop comes with latest Intel Core i7 processor and is backed by DirectX 11 capable GeForce GTX 460M with 1.5GB GDDR5 discrete graphics card.
The 15.6-inch gaming notebook follows the tradition of the MSI G series and has a glossy color film print to protect the GT663 from scratches and wear, rhombic pattern on the wrist areas and brush finish on the touchpad. The laptop also feature LED Performance Illumination Technology – highlighting LED lights around the notebook edges, that pulsate automatically to sounds emitted by your laptop.
It is available with two LCD options – HD (1366 x 768) and FHD (1920 x 1080) panels and packs Dynaudio sound system with DTS Surround Sensation UltraPC technology to give you cinema-class sound through its two HD speakers and a subwoofer. Under the hood the notebook is equipped with Intel Core i7 Processor on Intel PM55 chipset, PhysX supported GeForce GTX 460M with 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory, up to 12 GB DDR3 memory and has a dual hard disk architecture for up to 1TB of capacity.
The GT663also packs mandatory for every laptop hardware like Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/draft n, 4 in 1 (XD/SD/MMC/Memory Stick) card reader, 2x USB 2.0, even 2x USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, D-sub,e-SATA, build in HD webcamera and Super-Multi / Blu-Ray optical drive.
The gaming laptop also comes with MSI’s exclusive TDE+(Turbo Drive Engine+) technology, with which you “can increase processor, memory, and display chip performance instantly with one touch of the luminescent Turbo hotkey above the keyboard”, as well and MSI’s Cooler Boost technology, which provides powerful cooling capabilities and receives real-time notification of the GT660′s core temperature variations and fan speed.
Tha GT663 runs Windows 7 Home Premium and have a 9-cell battery, but still no info about price.
