In the past few weeks AMD refreshed the forgotten AM3+ CPU socket with three new processors – the FX-8370, which is a bit faster version of the FX-8350 and the low-power FX-8320E and FX-8370E chips. Strangely enough the company has released a fourth chip – the FX-8310, which was only officially reported today.
As the product name suggests the FX-8310 is a faster version of the FX-8300 processor. Thus the new chip offers eight Vishera cores that run at 3.4 GHz (4.3 GHz in Turbo Mode) as well as 8 MB of L2 cache and 8 MB of L3 cache. The chip has TDP of 95 watts.
You can have the FX-8310 now for USD 125.
