The famous Taiwanese hardware maker ASUS has had special series of graphics cards called MARS and ARES for quite some time but the company has not added new products to these lines for quite some time. The latest information on the company suggests something else though – ASUS may soon release a new dual GPU graphics card that will join the MARS line.
The new product will be known as MARS 760 and will be a dual GPU version of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760. If this is true then the MARS 760 will have two GK104 processors with each one of them having 1152 CUDA cores, 96 texture units and 64 ROPs. The card will have 4 GB of VRAM with each GPU having access to 2 GB over a 256-bit bus.
There’s no word on the release date or the pricing.
