EVGA has added two new power supply units to its SuperNova G2 line. The new models feature power output of 550W and 650W and fill in the gap between weaker models and more powerful PSUs that sit in the 700-1000W range.
The new models are called EVGA SuperNova 550 G2 and EVGA SuperNova 650 G2 and both of them feature a fully modular design as well as 80 Plus Gold certification. The PSUs feature Japanese capacitors, high-quality components and a durable cooling fan that only turns on when the PSU temperature goes above 45 degrees Celsius. The PSUs also offer a full range of protections that include protection against an electric shock, overloading, overheating and more.
The new PSUs by EVGA come with a 7-year warranty. No word on pricing as of now.
