GeForce GTX 970 image confirms rumors

The online web site Overclock has published an image of what seems to be an upcoming GeForce GTX 970 video card, made by ZOTAC. The publication is the latest proof that NVIDIA plans to skip the GTX 800 family, given the image is real.

The image of the ZOTAC GTX 970 is more interesting than other similar images due to the fact that it includes the video card and the box it is housed in. In addition to that all other tech details can be seen including the video card model number, which again confirms that the GeForce GTX 800 family will not come into existence.

As to the ZOTAC GTX 970, the card has 4 GB of memory, a dual-slot but short profile, two cooling fans and a cooling system with a few heatpipes. The GPU used is said to have 1644 stream processors and a 256-bit memory bus.
