After releasing the first custom GeForce GTX 1080 video card, Gigabyte has once again become the first company to release a custom GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card. Just like in the previous case, the card comes with the G1 Gaming moniker – it’s just that this time we are talking about a GTX 1070 card and not a GTX 1080.
The new Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming features a custom-designed PCB and comes with a 6+2 power phase system that allows the MOSFETs to work at lower temperatures and ensures more stable voltage output. In addition to this the card comes only with high quality components and capacitors for a prolonged lifespan. The card employs a Windforce 3X cooler that features three cooling fans with unique blade design and two pure copper composite heat pipes. Moreover the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming comes with integrated RGB LEDs that support 16.8 million colors and various lighting effects such as breathing, cycling, flash and others. The card gets power from a single 8-pin PCI-E connector and in the back it comes with a dual-link DVI, three DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one HDMI 2.0 port.
No word on pricing as of now.
