A leak related to the upcoming Intel Haswell processors, expected in early June 2013, has revealed the expected pricing of the first batch of processors.
According to the leak the unlocked flagship Core i7-4770K (4 cores, Hyper-Threading, 3.5/3.9 GHz, 8 MB L3 cache, HD 4600 graphics, 1250 MHz GPU, 84W TDP) will sell for USD 327. The Core i7-4770 (4 cores, Hyper-Threading, 3.4/3.9 GHz, 8 MB L3 cache, HD 4600 graphics, 1200 MHz GPU, 84W TDP) will cost USD 292, the Core i7-4770S (4 cores, Hyper-Threading, 3.1/3.9 GHz, 8 MB L3 cache, HD 4600 graphics, 1200 MHz GPU, 65W TDP) will sell for USD 285.
The less powerful Core i5 family will sell as follows – Core i5-4670 (4 cores, no Hyper-Threading, 3.4/3.8 GHz, 6 MB L3 cache, HD 4600 graphics, 1200 MHz GPU, 84W TDP) will retail for USD 209, the unlocked Core i5-4670K (4 cores, no Hyper-Threading, 3.4/3.8 GHz, 6 MB L3 cache, HD 4600 graphics, 1200 MHz GPU, 84W TDP) will cost USD 227, the Core i5-4570 (4 cores, no Hyper-Threading, 3.2/3.6 GHz, 6 MB L3 cache, HD 4600 graphics, 1150 MHz GPU, 84W TDP) will set you back USD 189, while the i5-4570S (4 cores, no Hyper-Threading, 3.0/3.6 GHz, 6 MB L3 cache, HD 4600 graphics, 1150 MHz GPU, 65W TDP) will be available for USD 182. Finally the i5-4430 (4 cores, no Hyper-Threading, 3.0/3.2 GHz, 6 MB L3 cache, HD 4600 graphics, 1100 MHz GPU, 84W TDP) will cost USD 175.
Once available the Intel Haswell chip will introduce the entirely new LGA1150 platform as well as exceptional power efficiency, performance improvements and new AVX2 instructions for even better multimedia.
