Origin PC has unveiled the new Chronos gaming computer, which packs powerful hardware inside a surprisingly small chassis. The new Chronos gaming PC is so powerful it will likely serve Origin PC as the company’s flagship computer for the time being.
The Chronos offers various hardware configurations – gamers can have this PC with a Gigabyte Z170N-Gaming 5 motherboard or with an AsRock X99E-ITX/AC/USB 3.1 board. Depending on the motherboard chosen the Chronos can come with Intel Core i5-6500/Core i5-6600K/Core i7-6700K Skylake processors or with Core i7-5820K/Core i7-5930K/Core i7-5960X Haswell-E chips. In all cases the CPU cooler will be the Origin Frostbyte 120 liquid-cooling model. The Chronos supports all modern NVIDIA and AMD video cards and you can go as high as GeForce GTX Titan Z or Radeon R9 Fury. In addition the computer supports up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory, up to five hard drives and a single optical drive.
Despite all this premium hardware the Origin PC Chronos is surprisingly small – the entire computer measures 35 x 10 x 30 cm (L x W x H). You can also place the case either vertically or horizontally thanks to the detachable magnetic feet the computer comes with. Unfortunately there’s no information how much the cheapest version of the Chronos costs.
