The US memory maker Patriot Memory has enhanced its Viper 4 line of DDR4 memory modules, which appeared back in January, with the addition of 64 GB and 128 GB DDR4 memory kits. As before the new memory modules are optimized to work with Intel’s Haswell-E processors and the Intel X99 Express chipset and target hardcore gamers and hardware enthusiasts.
The new memory modules run at 2400 MHz at 1.2V and feature 14-16-16-31 latencies. To battle heat the memory comes with integrated red-colored aluminum heat spreaders and fully supports Intel XMP 2.0. In addition there is a lifetime warranty from Patriot.
The updated Viper 4 memory line will be on the market in Q3 2015. No word on pricing as of now.
