The Korean company Zalman has released the new Z9 Neo PC chassis. It comes in the common mid-tower form factor and measures 490 x 482 x 205 mm.
The new case is available in two colors – black and white – and features a case window on the left side if you view the case up front. Despite its not so great dimensions the Z9 Neo is compatible with all ATX, microATX and mini ITX motherboards and what’s even more – the case offers seven expansion slots and support for video cards that are up to 420 mm long. There’s also support for CPU coolers that are as high as 160 mm and the case can take two 5.25-inch devices, four 3.5-inch devices and six 2.5-inch devices. The PSU inside the case sits at the bottom and can be as long as 200 mm.
The Zalman Z9 Neo comes with five pre-installed 120 mm Zalman ZM-F3s cooling fans that work at 1000-1500 rpm and that can push up to 59.68 cubic feet of air per minute at 18-23 dB of noise. The case has two cooling fans up front, a single fan in the back and two LED-backlit fans on top. Up front and in the back the case has two dust filters that can be easily taken out and then washed. If this is not your thing, the Z9 Neo supports liquid cooling solutions as well with radiators that can be as large as 240 mm. The front panel houses two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports and there are audio and microphone jacks as well.
The Zalman Z9 Neo will be on the market in early December. The case will sell for USD 70.
