Yes, they are here, the new Amazon’s e-readers. The company has introduced their latest generation e-readers which includes three new models- the new ‘flagship’ model called Kindle Fire, the Kindle Touch and the most affordable version yet, Kindle for only $79.
Yeah that’s right just for $79. This new version of the device is 18% smaller and 30% percent lighter, than previous models and turns pages 10 percent faster. It is equipped with 6-inch E Ink display with 600 x 800 pixel resolution at 167 ppi and 16-level gray scale, in a body that measures 166 mm x 114 mm x 8.7 mm and weighs only 170 grams. On front, the new model has four buttons and a 5-way controller for navigation, it also comes with built in Wi-Fi, 2GB internal memory and USB 2.0 port.
As usual, the new Amazon’s e-reader offers up to one month usage with a single charge, when wireless is off and up up to 3 weeks when wireless is always on, but this depends and on wireless usage of course. The Kindle supports following formats: AZW, TXT, PDF, unprotected MOBI, PRC natively, HTML, DOC, DOCX, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP through conversion.
