The German company Medion, known for making various electronic gadgets, will launch a new tablet later this month. The new device will be known as LifeTab S9512 and despite not being an iPad it promises to be quite a capable device.
The LifeTab S9512 is based on a dual-core 1 GHz SoC system by Texas Instruments and apart from the 9.7-inch IPS display (1024 x 768 pixel resolution) it also sports 16 GB of on-board memory, microSD card slot, 1.3 MP camera, 802.11n Wi-Fi and a battery that can last up to 10 hours according to the manufacturer.
Running Android 4.0 the tablet will be available for purchase in the middle of July for a price of 329 EUR.
