Sony today has unveiled its newest wearable mp3 player, which promises “rich, deep bass” with one-touch boost button and up to 90mins playback from just 3mins charge.
The new Walkman NWZ-B160 series MP3 player, weighs only 28g and less than 10cm long, and comes in two-tone finish with the colors of the rainbow. It has a 3-line backlit LCD, to display your songs, built-in USB connector and can deliver 18 hour playback time, plus a new feature that will give you 90 minutes of playback from a three minute quick charge, if you’re in a hurry. The player also has a detachable clip that allows you to attach the player to the pocket of your shirt or jeans, belt or bag strap, which is handy when you’re jogging. Sony promises “big, bold, sound” from the new player and If you need an extra bass, there’s a dedicated Bass button for even more low-end power.
The Walkman player also offer drag and drop music file transfers and ZAPPIN song search technology to lets you browse quickly through all your music.
The new Walkman NWZ-B160 line of compact MP3 players is available from June 2011.
