There’s no doubt that the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 smartphone will be one of the hottest such devices in the near future so you should not wonder why there’s so much hype. It is exactly this hype, however, that brings us details in advance so this is not necessarily a bad thing. Here’s the latest info – we now have the first pictures of the display of the Sony Xperia Z4.
As you can see there are slight changes when compared to the display of the Xperia Z3 but this is to be expected – after all we are dealing with a new model. The new display is a bit thinner and the proximity sensor and the front camera have exchanged places; in addition the speakers have found their places around the edge of the front panel. The Xperia Z4 will have a large 5.2-inch sensor display at Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels).
The preliminary specs of the Xperia Z4 include a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor (MSM8994) with eight big.LITTLE-based cores (four fast Cortex-A57 cores for heavy tasks and four simpler Cortex-A53 cores for lighter tasks), Adreno 430 graphics, support for LTE, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, a rear 20.7 MP camera, Bluetooth 4.1 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. The smartphone will also support Qi wireless charging.
The Sony Xperia Z4 is expected in January 2015.
