The Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC will release the second generation of its flagship One smartphone next year with the device most likely debuting during MWC 2014 in February next year.
The second version of the One smartphone will not differ much from the original device. It will come with a larger 5-inch display at Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels, 441 ppi) when compared to the original 4.7-inch display. The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor although some versions of the One 2 will sport the Snapdragon 805 chip that will give them the capability to play 4K video. The rest of the specs include a microSD card slot, a rear 4 MP camera with dual LED flash, a 2.1 MP front camera and high quality BoomSound speakers as well as 16 GB of internal storage.
The HTC One 2 will run Android 4.4 KitKat. The pricing of the device is unknown.
