The iPhone 5 release will be the big news this September and as the device gets closer and closer more details on specs and availability become on hand. The latest news is that pre-orders for the new iPhone 5 will start on September 12, which is the announcement day.
Market availability is expected to occur on September 21, nine days after announcement. There’s no doubt Apple will experience supply issues, long queues of people waiting for the iPhone 5 and so on so pre-ordering the smartphone may be a good idea.
Again, by the same source, international availability of the iPhone 5 is expected to happen in the first week of October and most likely on October 5, so if you live outside the USA you will have to wait for a few more weeks.
Pricing is unknown, as usual.
