Apart from offering Advanced In-Cell Touch (AIT) displays on the market LG has also unveiled a new flagship smartphone under the G4 Beat brand name. The newcomer comes with premium hardware specs and an excellent design and will appeal to many people who like high-end smartphones.
LG claims the G4 Beat delivers excellent multimedia capabilities and perhaps this is the reason why the smartphone has the “Beat” word. Inside it houses a 64-bit eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, a large 5.2-inch Full HD display at 423 ppi, 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory and two cameras – one rear at 8 MP (13 MP for Latin America countries) and another front at 5 MP. The smartphone also has support for LTE and offers 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, a GPS receiver, USB 2.0, a 2300 mAh battery and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The device is available in Metallic Silver, Shiny Gold and Ceramic White colors and measures 142.7 x 72.6 x 9.85 mm for total weight of 139 grams.
The new LG G4 Beat will be on the market in Europe and Latin America this month and after that it will appear in Canada, India, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, Singapore and other countries. Its final price is unknown.
