Nokia announced that another smartphone, unveiled at this year’s Nokia world officially starts shipping today.
Nokia claims that C6-01 is the most affordable Symbian^3 handset to date and also the most compact one for the price of 260 euro before taxes and subsidies. It measures103.8 x 52.5 x 13.9mm and weighs131g and is one of Nokia’s greenest devices to date, featuring the use of bioplastics and recycled metals for much of its construction.
The smartphone has a 3.2-inch Clear Black AMOLED capacitive touchscreen for improved visibility in outdoor locations. Powered by 680 MHz CPU with dedicated graphics accelerator and 256 MB of RAM. Also offers 340MB of internal memory, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, Accelerometer sensor, a micro-USB port, a 3.5mm jack, a microSD slot with up to 32GB and a 8 megapixel camera dual-LED flash and 720p recording. It comes in two color versions – Silver Grey and Black, with free navigation through Ovi Maps, extra apps from Ovi Store and tunes from Ovi Music, ouu and there’s also a 2GB card in the box.
