Just a few days before the official debut of the highly expected Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone the Korean electronics giant has unveiled more details about its upcoming product.
One thing’s for sure now ending all speculation in this field – the Samsung Galaxy S III will come with a quad core Exynos 4 Quad processor at 1.4 GHz. The chip is built on the ARM Cortex A9 core and uses 32 nm High-k Metal Gate transistor technology.
The upcoming Exynos 4 Quad also builds on the older 45 nm Exynos 4 Dual. The new chip is not only two times faster – it also uses 20% less energy.
Unfortunately all other specs remain unknown but it is expected the Galaxy S III to feature a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, 16 GB of on-board storage, a microSD card slot and Android 4.0.
