Samsung’s first Windows Phone 7 smartphone is now officially announced. The Samsung Omnia 7 GT-I8700 has a 4-inch (800×480) Super AMOLED touchscreen, 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 processor, 8GB on board memory and 5-megapixel autofocus camera.
Running Microsoft’s latest mobile operating system, the new Samsung’s smartphone offers 3G with HSPA support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, FM Radio with RDS, A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and 1500mAh battery. It measures 122.4 x 64.2 x 10.99 mm, weights 138 grams and also packs 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash and capability to record 720p@25fps videos.
The new Samsung Omnia 7 also offers advanced tools for working with social networks, access to entertainment services Xbox LIVE and Zune, as well Bing Map, Bing Search. Still no information about price tag.
