Sony Ericsson today officially unveiled a new Walkman smartphone called simply “Live”, running latest Android (Gingerbread 2.3) OS and promising “an unique social music experience.”
Sony Ericsson Live features curved design with glossy finish, measures 106.0 x 56.0 x 14.2 mm, weighs 115.0 gr and is fitted with 3.2-inch (480 x 320) touchscreen with mineral glass over it for better scratch resistance. It is powered by 1GHz processor, has 512MB and 320 internal storage, and come with a 2GB microSD card. The phone offers HSDPA, GPS, Wi-Fi with DLNA and hotspot, Bluetooth, 1200 mAh battery and VGA front-facing camera, and 5megapixel autofocus camera with 720p video recording.
Sony Ericsson Live has a a dedicated Walkman button, enhanced stereo speakers with xLOUD technology and also provides access to Sony’s Qriocity music and video content services. Other features included are TrackID and “Deep Facebook integration” that offers easy sharing and instan access to Facebook through the most used applications of the phone such as the picture gallery, music player, phonebook and calendar.
Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman will go on sale from Q4 2011.
