The Chinese company ZTE appears to have created a new smartphone that goes by the name of Grand X Quad. The novelty has been spotted on a Chinese government web site awaiting authorization so that it may enter the market a bit later.
The ZTE Grand X Quad is based on a 5-inch sensor display at 720p resolution (1280 x 720 pixels) and sports a MediaTek MT6589 SoC with four cores at 1.2 GHz. The smartphone has 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for cards with capacities of up to 32 GB, a rear 8 MP camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a GPS receiver and a 2500 mAh battery. Another feature is support for two SIM cards.
The ZTE Grand X Quad runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and is expected to cost around USD 270.
